Hello! My name is Asia or you can call me Ace! I am thankful for your interest in Laced by Ace LLC! Before booking, please read through my policies to make this process a smooth, simple one. Firstly, I am a Licensed Master Cosmetologist as well as the sole owner of this business. Secondly, I am conducting business from my home-based salon. Lastly, I offer many different services for all hair types and textures but my specialties are as follows: natural hair care, braid extensions, weave extensions, locks ( a.k.a dreads) and chemical services (coloring, bleaching, perms, etc.). ***If you are experiencing any cold-like symptoms including, but not limited to: cough, runny nose, fever, etc. PLEASE wait until you are healthy to book an appointment. If you arrive with any of these symptoms, I have no choice but to ask you to leave immediately. Thank you.***
Deposits
A non-refundable, transferable deposit is required for most, but not all appointments.
‼️! If you decide to pay in full when booking, please note that the full payment will be treated as a deposit. This means that it is non-refundable and can only be transferred ONCE !‼️
DEPOSITS ARE DUE UPON BOOKING! NO EXCEPTIONS! YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT WITHOUT THE DEPOSIT!
You will receive a confirmation email and text with the address to your appointment. During this time, it is critical to notify me about about allergies, hair loss/breakage, or any worries/concerns involving your hair.
YOUR HAIR MUST BE AT LEAST 2 INCHES LONG FOR ME TO EFFECTIVELY GRIP IT.
The remaining balance can be paid via cash (preferred) or debit/credit.
Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule, please try to notify me at least 24 hours in advance. Your non-refundable deposit is able to be transferred ONCE. If I need to reschedule, I will try to notify you at least 24 hours in advance. Your non-refundable deposit will be transferred to the new appointment.
Late Policy
Your time is extremely valuable to me as is my time for you.
I allow a 10 minute "grace period" to be late. After 10 minutes, a late fee of $10.00 will be applied to your remaining balance. After 15 minutes, your appointment MUST be rescheduled and the late fee still applies. Your deposit will be transferred ONLY once! If you fail to reschedule on the day of the missed appointment, you will be considered a "no call/no show".
- 15 minutes late? = OKAY
- 16 minutes late? = NOT OKAY
Should I be late 10 minutes, a $10.00 credit will be applied to your account. Should I be late after 15 minutes, a $15.00 credit will be applied to your account.
NO CALL/NO SHOW
Considering life's unexpected events, I will excuse ONE "no call/no show" incident. However, if you wish to book with me again, you will now have to pay 100% of the cost of services UPFRONT for ALL future appointments during booking. If you no call/no show twice, you will be banned from booking with me INDEFINITELY.
Children
I accept children as clients between the ages of 8-12. Kid prices are applied to ages 8-12. If your child is 13 or above, adult prices will apply to them.
Emergency Appointments
Emergency appointments are strictly up to my discretion, this means that I reserve the right to accept or deny any emergency appointment. Emergency appointments include, but are not limited to:
- after hour appointments,
- off-day appointments, and/or
- same day appointments
There will be a $50 emergency fee for such appointments. To request an emergency appointment, please text/call (336) 493-5644 and I will reply accepting or denying the appointment. If your appointment is accepted, the $50 emergency fee will present itself as an "add on". Keep in mind, it is wiser and cheaper to book in advance!
